IMPORTANT: All information below is a free translation, prepared in good faith, of the original Spanish Cookie Policy of UCADEMY ACCESO UNIVERSIDAD S.L. (an entity based in Madrid, Spain). In the event of any discrepancy or legal dispute, the Spanish version shall prevail over the English translation.

This Cookie Policy explains what cookies are, what types we use on this website (hereinafter, «the Site»), for what purposes, for how long and how you can manage your consent. This policy complements our Privacy Policy.

1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files that websites install on your device (computer, tablet or mobile phone) when you visit them. They allow pages to work, remember your preferences or measure how you use them. Some cookies are essential for the Site to work; others are optional and are only installed with your consent.

2. Legal basis

We process cookies in accordance with Article 22.2 of Law 34/2002 on Information Society Services and Electronic Commerce (LSSI-CE), Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR), Organic Law 3/2018 on the Protection of Personal Data and Guarantee of Digital Rights (LOPDGDD), and the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD) Guide on the use of cookies.

Strictly necessary cookies are loaded on the basis of our legitimate interest in providing the requested service. The rest require your prior, free, specific, informed and unambiguous consent, which you can give, refuse or withdraw at any time using the floating button with the cookie icon available on every page or from the cookie banner.

3. Types of cookies we use

We classify cookies into three categories:

  • Necessary: essential for the Site to work. They do not require consent.
  • Statistics: allow us to measure use of the Site in aggregate in order to improve it. They require consent.
  • Marketing: allow us to show relevant advertising, measure campaign effectiveness and personalize the experience. They require consent.

5. Management through Google Tag Manager and Consent Mode v2

In the meantime, Google may receive aggregated, cookieless signals (cookieless pings) for statistical modelling purposes, in accordance with its policy.

6. International transfers

Some providers (Google, Meta, TikTok) may process data in countries outside the European Economic Area. In those cases, the transfers are covered by standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission or by frameworks such as the EU–US Data Privacy Framework, where applicable.

7. How to manage your preferences

You can open the settings panel directly by clicking here:

You can also manage your consent in the following ways:

  • From the banner that appears the first time you visit the Site.
  • From the floating button with the cookie icon that is permanently displayed in the bottom-left corner. Clicking it opens the settings panel so that you can review or change your choice.
  • From your browser settings. You can block or delete cookies through your browser preferences. Each browser has a different procedure: Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge.

If you reject optional cookies, the Site will remain fully functional, but some secondary features (such as behavioural metrics or personalized advertising) may not be available.

8. Expiry and withdrawal of consent

Your consent is valid for a maximum of 12 months. After that period, we will ask you again. You can withdraw it at any time using the floating cookie button, without affecting the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the cookies we use or the applicable regulations change. When changes are substantial, we will ask for your consent again.
